Wen Ma, Université de Sherbrooke

Wen Ma is an assistant professor in the Chemical and Biotechnological Engineering department at Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) since 2024. Her research lab (The Membrane Lab@USherbrooke) is dedicated to membrane technologies for water treatment, resource recovery, and other separation and purifications. Her research field mainly related to membrane technology-based separation and purification. It includes: (a) advanced membranes for water treatment; (b) Electrified water treatment technologies; and (c) Functional materials for the membrane development. The research of Wen’s lab is supported by NSERC Discovery Grant, FRQNT-CNRST Research Collaboration Fund, FRQNT Research Support for New Academics grant, and CFI – John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF).
