Omer Sadak

Dr. Omer Sadak is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Sciences at Clemson University. His research focuses on nanomaterials, smart and sustainable packaging, biosensors, and emerging technologies for food and healthcare applications. His group develops functional nanomaterials and intelligent sensing systems to improve product safety, quality, and sustainability through interdisciplinary research at the interface of nanotechnology, materials science, and engineering. Dr. Sadak has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, holds a U.S. patent, and actively contributes to scientific societies, international conferences, and interdisciplinary collaborations advancing nanotechnology and emerging technologies.
